HDE has a wide range of expertise in the mechanical design area and we pride ourselves on being able to provide economic, innovative and practical engineering design solutions in a timely fashion.

HDE produces plans to meet client needs across all engineering design disciplines. All mechanical designs drafted by the team are modelled using Autodesk Inventor. Fabrication drawings are produced from the models and can be provided to clients in AutoCAD, PDF or hard copy. We also possess full 3D rendering and automation capabilities.

Conceptual designs are prepared and displayed using Autodesk 3D modelling software which allows our clients the best possible means to evaluate the design. HDE values client interaction, especially in the design phase of a project, and so we endeavour to keep our clients involved as much as possible.

HDE uses the latest version Autodesk design software, including Inventor. AutoCAD Mechanical and AutoCAD Electrical together with Plate ‘n’ Steel Professional for plate detailing and Scan to CAD vector to raster conversion software complete the suite of software design tools we use which make for ease of use and highest quality presentations for our clients.
We can also produce complete tender packages including scopes and specifications for all our designs, if required.

To keep up-to-date with operational requirements in the industry, HDE maintains a close working relationship with various mine sites and engineering fabrication companies to ensure we are always up to speed with the latest operational requirements.
